As always we start each day with prayer for safety and strength and we end with a prayer of thanks for another successful day. We truly believe that we are not making this journey alone and every time there is a need God has answered our prayers. Thanks to all who are praying for us.
The ride from Papago Park to Apache Junction was all city streets.
Then the scenery changed dramatically - majestic mountain views, steep climbs and beautiful bridges. We rode through the cooper and silver mining towns of Superior, Miami and Globe.
We made reservations for tonight at a Best Western outside of Globe. Upon arriving we found out it was a hotel/casino!! What a deal - we got a great room, 2 buffet dinners, breakfast and all that for $49.00! We are sleeping well tonight.
I am feeling strong, my appetite is increasing daily and my body is adjusting to more mileage and the extreme heat. Vicki has been monitoring my fluids and nutrition intakes - also lots of support.
Where's The Beach !!!!
